| The National Trust Neptune Coastline Campaign

The Neptune Coastline Campaign is the National Trust's longest running appeal; in 45 years, it has raised over £50 million. Money raised by the Neptune Coastline Campaign is used wherever the need is greatest on the shores of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Gifts help the National Trust to acquire more land, manage exiting sites more sensitively and sustainably, and enable the charity to engage more deeply with the general public and its supporters on coastal issues. Without the foresight and commitment of its supporters, much of what the Neptune Coastline Campaign has achieved in the past would not have been possible. The protection of one-third of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, and the care of magnificent landmarks such as St David's Head in Pembrokeshire and the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland, are due to donors' generosity over the last four decades.
